Metropolitan Housing Coalition

Since 1988, the Metropolitan Housing Coalition has been the united voice for fair, decent and affordable housing in the Louisville metropolitan region. MHC is a private, non-profit organization representing over 170 member organizations and more than 250 individual members.

Louisville Urban League

The Louisville Urban League is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, interracial community service organization dedicated to the elimination of racism and its effects within our community.

Making Connections Louisville

The Making Connections Network consists of network members and network partners.  Through the network, members and their families become interconnected to one another strengthening the community.  Network members also become connected to various opportunities through the network partners. The Making Connections Network is largely focused on achieving the following target results for families: Jobs, Assets, Success in School, Strong Families, Healthy Neighborhoods.

Presbyterian Community Center

The Presbyterian Community Center serves as the comprehensive neighborhood center for the Smoketown and Shelby Park area, tending to the physical, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual needs of families. The center creates opportunities to support, release and strengthen each individual's gifts, so every person becomes a fully empowered citizen in the world of today and tomorrow.

River City Housing

River City Housing is a non-profit organization committed to developing high-quality homes that are affordable for low- and moderate-income families in Louisville Metro. Through partnerships with business, government, and community groups, River City Housing has produced one hundred new single-family homes and twelve affordable senior apartments.
