The neighborhood planning process allows residents to document a clear vision for their neighborhood with corresponding goals, objectives and strategies – or recommendations – for future improvements.  Typically a process that spans 9 months or more, it includes deep dives on neighborhood challenges and opportunities. Center for Neighborhoods focuses on capacity building for residents and local groups throughout the process, using it as an opportunity for resident to gain knowledge, organize around a common goal, and build relationships to implement their vision after the planning process is complete.  Our team utilizes a wide variety of community engagement and creative facilitation techniques in order to reach widely and inclusively.
